The results of World University Rankings 2022 announced on September 2.China's Tsinghua University and Peking University rank sixteenth.It is the highest ranking ever recorded by Chinese mainland universities.

In addition, the Chinese mainland has also set a record of 97 Chinese mainland universities. Ten universities ranked among the top 200, becoming the fourth on the list(NO.1 The United States,NO.2 Japan,No.3 The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland ). 

In 2021, a total of 1662 universities from 99 countries and regions are on the list (an increase of 136 universities and 6 countries and regions compared with last year), becoming the largest ranking list of world universities.
