Located in Shanghai, the financial center of China, SJTU is ranked 47th best university in the world, and 5th in China, according to the renowned QS World University Ranking.

Pre-University Program consists of:

Program A：

This program is designed for students who have already reached a good level of Chinese language（HSK 4 ≧ 180 or equivalent）but need remediation of academic subjects of Chinese, English, Mathematics to meet the requirements of SJTU undergraduate admissions.

Duration: One Academic Year, two semesters of 28 weeks.

Program B:

This program is suitable for students who possess limited or no Chinese language skills but perform well in other subjects. Students are given intensive Chinese language training.

Duration: Two Academic Years, 62 weeks. 

Eligibility：

1、graduates of senior high school(or above).

2、Non-Chinese citizens who hold a foreign passport and comply with the relevant regulations set by “Ministry of Education of the PRC”.

3、Students who are aged between 17 and 23.

Application Date and Deadline：2021.4.15---2021.8.30

Admission Date：September 2021（details are subject to the admission letter）
