During the summer vacation, don’t work illegally. Any form of working full-time or part-time without permission is forbidden and may cause serious consequences, even with risk of being repatriated.

Expats with local insurance can get free vaccines at the local hospitals, same as Chinese citizens. For those who are not insured, each dose costs 31 USD; two does needed in total.

During the summer vacation, it’s great to plan your trips. Many of the famous tourist areas in China such as Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou, Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan, Hulun Buir Grassland in Inner Mongolia, Erhai Lake in Dali, Yunnan, etc. ,are fabulous in July.
